Photomonth 09, the East London Photography Festival, is the largest photography festival in the UK with more than 150 exhibitions and events taking place in over 85 venues in East London.
Headline Events include the photomonth photofair in the Spitalfields Traders Market, Shoot Spitalfields at Toynbee Studios, the photomonth photo-open at the Old Truman Brewery, portfolio reviews and the photomonth lecture given by Mark Neville at the Whitechapel Gallery, talks and debates at Amnesty International UK and a whole series of workshops and seminars at London Metropolitan University.
2009 sees the introduction of the new Youth Photography Award sponsored by the World Photography Organisation.
